OK try this on for size.... I'm in the Tulsa Easyriders shop, and I'm talking to the parts guy. He wants to see my bike, so we walk outside. When we get there, a guy is just pulling into the parking lot. He walks over and we start talking about the Piglet. He asks all sorts of questions and then the price. I tell him. He replaces his jaw in the socket and asks if Suzuki still makes the bike for 2000. I tell him, yep, and the place I got it has three in stock. Now, I'm parked right in front of the door, so both the salesman and me had figured the guy was on the way in to the store. But, no, he then says "Well I was just passing by and saw that bike in my mirror so I had to stop. See ya!" Then he mumbled something about old Victors and Nortons and headed off to the Suzuki dealer!!!
Not exactly a "verbal" compliment, but it still made me feel pretty good!
